The recently opened Brora Community Learning Centre offers a unique opportunity to access all levels of learning in a friendly, relaxed and informal environment.
Facilities include a Training Room with 10 PC's and a smaller Study Room with 2 PC's for one to one tuition and on line study. Not forgetting a spacious reception area to come for coffee and advice.
Brora Community Learning Centre is open to all and welcomes visitors to call in and find out what's on offer. Friendly Centre staff will be on hand to provide advice and information on all your learning requirements.
For those of you with little or no computing skills at all and are hesitant about joining a class, we offer one to one tuition, which is proving most popular. With students progressing to more formal computing classes within a surprisingly short period of time. In partnership with North Highland College we offer courses from 'Computing for the Terrified' to the European Computing Driving License for the more advanced student.
We are keen to respond to the needs of the local Community and are happy to develop courses as needs are identified.
And it's not only computing courses that are on offer within the Centre we have students studying a variety of courses from Creative Writing, Counselling Skills and French Conversation. It really is possible to access a most diverse range of courses on line through the Centre.
So if you are thinking about returning to study or perhaps accessing learning for the first time since leaving school or indeed thinking about changing your career, then Brora Community Learning Centre really is the place to visit to take that vital first step!! So go then, what are you waiting for????
